  • Onboarding Client


  1. Use this document to onboard the client: Client Onboarding for Facebook Ads

  2. Ideal outcome: 

    • The client has completed the onboarding questionnaire.

    • Access granted to client’s Facebook Business Manager and website.

    • Set up a kickoff call with the client.


  • Fill in the Ad Campaign & Creative Brief

  1. After the kickoff call, fill in the client brief template with details about the client’s business and customer persona.

  2. Ideal outcome: 

    • A completed brief to be used for campaign strategy.


  • Campaign Strategy

  1. Set up a strategy call with the client.

  2. Perform a Facebook Ads audit for the client.

  3. Use this document to create a campaign proposal for the client.

    1. Create a campaign proposal for the client.

  4. Present campaign proposal to the client.

  5. Ideal outcome:

  • Set up a meeting to propose campaign strategy to the client.

  • Strategy deck ready to present to the client.

  • Confirm project scope, timeline, and deliverables with the client.


  • Analytics Setup

  1. Set up Facebook Pixel for the client’s website or Shopify store if it is not set up already. 


  1. Ideal outcome:

  • Facebook Pixel and Conversion Tracking set up on the client's site.


  • Request Marketing and Creative Resources 

  1. The onboarding email informs the client to share all creatives and marketing materials in the shared google drive folder. Make sure you have all necessary resources needed to start your ad campaigns:

  • Company Logos

  • Brand guidelines

  • Promotional media (images, videos, text)

  • Email list

  • Customer persona

  • Customer testimonials
